RUN!!!!
I have been a resident of Blanton Common for a year now and I have to agree with the rest of the negative comments on this website. There have been four or five different property managers (the last of them seemed to be the first one that actually cared about the residents), the staff changes daily and so do the rules. I signed a renewal back in December (not knowing what the future would bring) and have since been accpeted to another college. The assistant manager, very rudley, explained to me that I am still repsonsible for a lease that has not even started. According to the lease terms, the lease begins on August 1, therefore, if I am not able to fullfill the lease terms and have given the 30 day notice according to Georgia Landlord Laws, I should not be finanicailly obligliated. Think AGAIN! There is no way out of the lease unless you pay a $350 sublet fee and find someone to take your spot. The staff isn't going to help you find some one...they are already begging people to lease in the second phase.<br>The apartment complex is very unsafe and don't let them fool you by telling you they have onsite patrol officers (good luck getting one of them to answer the phone), there have been cars broken into, many drug bust, and several residents arrested for felonies (armed robbery, drug distribution, ect.) Blanton Common is known around campus as the place to party and purchase drugs. OH! I forgot to add the much older man who would vidoe tape the girls out by the pool or in the gym. FREAK!! This place may appear to be luxory, but trust me and the other comments, it isnt.Share This Review
