Nice but having some problems
Over all its good but having issues not sure if it affects all others but it affects me. Insulation issues, you can hear the toilet flush from the upstairs apartment. When you first hear, it sounds like a pipe burst, and a big flood of water is rushing out and you expect the ceiling to collapse. Popping or knocking noise in the wall when one of the neighbors A/C is running. Both of these are in the master bedroom so if you a light sleeper its a pain. The third bedroom with the large windows is cold in winter and hot in summer. I was told that it is because it is on the end and the air/heat travels furthest to get there. The rest of the apartment is either too hot or too cold just to get this room comfortable. Carpet was not new, only cleaned when we moved in. There is some stain near the pantry door that seems to feel sticky when it gets warm. We live under a corporate apartment, which means we are on our Third new neighbor in less than six months.Usually out of state it would seem from the license plates so safety is an issue even if a background check is done. Maintenance and staff are really nice and very friendly. Maintenance is prompt to fix what the can. My gripe is that I pay almost $1200 a month including garage and I have to deal with these issues. I know apartment living you have to expect certain things but you should also get what you pay for. I don't intend to renew my lease here. I really like it for the most part but these issues are not something I can deal with for what I'm paying.8/22/2011
