DO NOT MOVE IN HERE
I have lived in many apartments in Wichita and I have to say that this is the worst apartment experience I have ever had. I have lived here for 3 months so far... lets start at the beggining. I paid the deposit and first months rent and was given an apartment number to move in to... I was told to call the electric company to get the electic switched over to my name. I call and get everything set up and all of my other utilities ready and get a call 2 days before it is time for me to move in saying that the apartment wasn't ready and that they have another apartment for me instead... so I have to call and transfer all my utilities yet again.

Then when I do move in, I was told I would get new carpet... that was a joke. I moved in to a 2nd floor apartement and when I first put my key in the door it stuck and I had to shimmy the door nob and the lock to get it to open (which I still have to do to this day despite my many complaints to the front office), as I walk up the steps the carpet wasn't tacked down properly and sharp metal carpet tacks were exposed and sticky out! As the day progresses I go to use my dishwasher and the handle is broken and it won't shut so I can't get the dishwasher to work. The screen was missing from the 2nd bedroom window, and there is paint on all of the windows. I go to hang towels in my bathroom and the towel holder upper is wobly. I call about the problems.... the door still is still not fixed to this day (3 months later), I fixed the towel rack myself, the dishwasher they had to come out 3 times before getting it fixed right (the first time they did nothing, the second time they put a new dish washer in but didn't bolt it into place and when I went to use it - it fell out of the hole at me, the third time it was finally fixed). The screen window took 2 visits to get it fixed.... which moves me to a few days ago when my ac unit went out. It went out on a Thursday and I called and they said they would be out Friday to fix it. Friday comes and maintence tells me that if it ins't over 80 degrees it isn't a priority and at the latest it will be Monday. Well Saturday rolls around it is 90 degrees outside and I call and ask when it is going to be fixed, I am told Monday. I offer to pay and get it ficed myself and ask for it to be taken off my rent and I am told no. This complex is fast to take your overpriced rent each month (mine is $520 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath with no washer and dryer hook ups) and slow to fix problems.
