Second time living here and enjoy it.
This is the second time I have chosen to live at this complex, after a horrible experience in another complex close by.

Overall, I give it thumbs up... and I have over 18 years of rental history in various apartments.

Staff is very polite and nice. The maintenance workers are prompt and repairs usually are quick and satisfactory.

The grounds upkeep is satisfactory. Corridors and usually kept clean and vacummed (inside corridors-nice in winter). Landscaping is nice, with lots of trees. There is an buzz-in system for the front doors, which helps keep unsolicited people away.

The apartments themselves are on the smaller side (especially the junior one-bed rooms), and can be pricey, but I was lucky to get specials each time I rented. The savings was well worth it. I also find the added bonus of full size washer and dryers to be handy. The appliances in my second apartment could be updated a little. The office put in new carpet and flooring for our apartment, which really made it look very nice. The top floors have cathedral ceilings, which help out the size aspect. Closets are small, but you have a storage area off of the balacony.

Noise is minimal from other apartments on the top floor. On the botom floors, you can hear some "normal" apartment noises. If you have a top floor and are closer to the railroad tracks, I hope you like trains! Especially in the winter months. My first floor apartment, I could barely hear them. My top floor (next building over) I can definately hear the whistles - but I happen to love trains.

Parking is not bad, usually enough spots close to your building, depending on different parts of the complex you live in. Large trash dumpster and car wash area. Also the pool is quite nice, small, but very enjoyable to sit around.

One of the nicer parts of living here is the nice lake about half a block away for walking around. This is a residential area with townhouses and condos - very nice, yet still close to grocery stores.

All in all, a good place if you can get a discounted deal on the apartment.Share This Review
