Cars stolen, high utilities, ------ fab, old ............
I moved to Larchdale in Nov. 2004 and stayed only one year. The parking lot is like a war zone. First of all if your car is out side when you get up to go to work in the wee hours of the morning, you will probably have to walk a half mile to get to the darkest side of the parking lot. My boyfriend and I both had our cars stolen from the parking lot about a month apart from each other. There is a security guard who sometimes drives around, but even if he saw something happening he is in no condition to get out and chase somebody. Then when we called to the rental office to inform them, they were not very concerned. Just as they were not concerned with repairing their broke down complex. Our toilet is constantly clogged and has over flowed numerous times. The gas bill for a three bedroom apartment in a full building was almost $200.00/month. The building was very loud and someone was always outside yelling or blasting music. Some one was always smoking in the enclosed hallway, not just cigarettes. My child has asthma and I did not appreciate having to walk through a cloud of smoke to go out in the morning. Another car I had borrowed was broken into there. Then I saw the guys that stole my car driving out of Larchdale in my own car. The bathroom soap dish fell right off of the wall and was taped up there by the maintainance man until we moved which was only because half of the building burnt down. The fire probably heped get some of the roaches and yellow jackets out though. Also I drove past the other day and someone was moved into my previous apartment, when the building should have been condemned after the fire. It is not safe at all I would rather live in a tent. Shane and Utonga were very nice and helpful but The older man was very rude and nasty.Share This Review
