Nice place, but idiots in management
I´ve lived in the Seasons since 2000, and I really like the area. People are friendly, it´s quiet, green, and safe.
Convenient access to I-95, good landscaping, decent interiors.

Unfortunately, the management staff has been lousy at dealing with problems. When I was trying to move in, they never called back with status updates on my lease application; I had to keep pestering them, even though they kept promising to call me when things were ready.

When I was presented with the lease, I was appalled to find clearly illegal clauses in it, which the management shrugged off, saying "take it or leave it." Their argument was that if it went to court, the judge would probably throw it out, but they absolutely refused to remove the illegal clauses, and were rude and condescending about the fact that I was standing up for my rights.

I really needed the place at the time, so I begrudgingly signed the lease, figuring things couldn´t go so wrong that those clauses would be an issue.

Well, this summer I came home and found a court summons on my door for failure to pay rent. I´d paid my rent. The management office had erroneously and illegally "raised my rent", despite my written corrections when they tried to tell my my lease had "expired".
I won the case, but can no longer accept their incompetence or the fact that the lease is clearly written so that they can get away with murder.

Attempts to contact Berkshire realty, the parent management company were fruitless. I was never able to get any reply from any of their assorted national offices, or even
reach a human being behind their "go-away" style voice mail system.

It´s a shame, really... I liked living there, and would stay if they had a legal lease or the management was interested in discussing my concerns.
