RUN FAR AWAY
This apartment complex is the saddest excuse for living I have ever seen. Alden Park is a beautiful historic landmark, but unfortunatly it is so old it doesnt function properly for a comfortable living style. Now this would be fine if tenants werent paying out of the nose to live here. The new management is terrible. They are the worst group of individuals I have ever come to know and have no buissness pretending to run an apartment complex. Maintenance is aslo a joke. When you need to put in 5 work orders to fix one small problem I think thats when you have an issue. The building leaks, there is no hot water before noon, its always 15 degrees colder within the apartment than it is outside, unless its the summer months than it is 15 degrees hotter. You will be living with the wildlife of Philadelphia, this includes squirrels, roaches, mice, rats and the occasional snake in your bathroom (true story). The gym is a pathetic excuse and shouldnt even be listed as an amenitie to this establishment. Parking is pathetic and now guest parking is a hassle. If you ahve a guest it takes about 30 minutes to sign them in and get them through the gate. This apartment complex is a serious dirt hole especially when you are paying a lot of money to live here. If your looking to live here just expect to pay outrageous amounts of money (and it is possible that management will try to ILLEGALLY raise it 300 dollars halfway through your leasing term for the hell of it)and be prepared for the apartment to have mass amounts of problems. All and all I do not recommend anyone to live here. It may look nice on the outside but it has poor upkeep and crappy management.Share This Review
