You get what you pay for with the "Globe". Rent may be cheep but your heating bills come winter make up for that your average bill will be about $125 just to keep the temp at 70 degrees. The Staff uses the office as their personal day care center and internet poker room at night. You know all the personal information you give when you fill out an application (bank records, SSN and canceled checks) they sit in piles on the floor for anyone of there friends that hang out there to take. The Maintenance will take about 2-3 weeks to fix any problem you may have no matter how big or small. Homeless are always trying to get into the building and they do sleeping in the stair wells and lobby. It is safe to say that 1/3 to 1/2 of the people living at the globes collect their government checks and food stamps. This past summer a pool of blood (that is no an exaggeration) was on the steps of the entrance for 3 days before it was taken care of (they tossed a bucket of water on it). The cars on the street have windows busted out all the time, and the gated parking lot is a joke with people letting their friends in every night if you have a parking pass be sure your home before 8pm or you will park on the street. Recommendations Move into the LOFTS at Sheldon and Fulton the rent is more but the heat is free and the residents have class. Anyone who says the Globe is a nice place is friends with the management or is lazy trash who sticks up for their own.
