Got a one bedroom here for my last year at MSU. Buildings are not bad, no problems with maintenance other than small amount of moisture/mold (basement apartment). Generally was very quiet except I could hear the neighbors occasionally, walls are sort of thin (about average though I'd say). Some neighbors were a little weird/shady, but kept to themselves so whatever.
Building managers on site were a young couple, very nice/helpful. DTN, however, really sucks. They utilize evil tactics like having employees leave padded comments on some rental websites regarding their properties. They will hound you for really minor stuff after move-out (was threatened over the phone). Many people I knew at state feel the same way about DTN, but it's hard to avoid them.
Overall not a bad place for the price, would recommend as long as you keep your contact to a minimum with DTN.
