I lived there for a year from 2001-2002. When I moved into the apartment, I found that it had a serious flea infestation. They bit me so much I had to go to the health service and the bites gave me severe alergic reactions. Dan had cheek to ask me if it was because I let the neighbour's cat into myh apartment ONCE. He also did not move me into a new apartment immediately, but sprayed the apartment twice rather than move me out and change the carpet. Finally, he moved me into a new apartment when it obvious the fleas were not going to die so easily.
The 2nd apt I got was OK. However, none of the apartments have windows that open in the living room. The apartment has only 2 small windows that open in the bedroom. Someone told me they decided not to put in windows that open in the living room to cut costs. This is a bad way to cut costs as it means that ventilation in the apartments are bad.
I moved out because of the lack of good ventilation and also because towards the end of my stay, I forgot to lock my door one night and a strange male opened the door at midnight. I screamed my head off; it really spooked me. This place is not completely safe as its very near the road and the apartments do not have a well-defined territory. I would never live there again because of this truly frightening incident.
The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbours in the toilet, down to the flush. Once, when the downstairs neighbours burned some peas and the cooking pot, this horrid smell spread through the boiler room all through my apartment and the smell permeated all my things and never left. It was simply awful. Dan said he could not smell anything and I had to ask several times before they told me abut the burning incident. But boy, the smell was just awful.
