This place used to be a great place to live. The new property management has really blown it so far. The only thing this complex has going for it is excellent location. (That is the reason I am still living here.)
I find the people in the office to be rude and unprofessional each time I have had the unfortunate need to go up and speak with them. They will ignore you for a little bit when you walk in the door. I will tell you that when I am out walking my dog and someone from the office walks past me while showing a unit to a potential new victim, they are the phoniest polite people ever.
As far as the maintenance goes, its practically non existent. They are just stretched too thin with this being an older complex and the place just falling down around us. I have called for numerous maintenance requests over the past few months and this is usually how it goes. I call the office. They tell me they will send the guy. The guy never comes. I call them back and they tell me they ll send the guy again. The guy comes out, looks at the problem and says he ll come back and fix it. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn t. I can count at least three maintenance requests in the last two months the guy said he would fix and never came back. I just don t care anymore and gave up asking.
I will say one this to any future resident who may move in here. Make sure you get renters insurance because your apartment will get flooded. Some time when you least expect it, your ceiling will begin gushing water, some pipe behind a wall or from some window seal that wore out. Every person that I know in here has experienced at least one flood or leak during their residency. I my self have experienced 4.
Good luck to all. My lease is up in three months and I m out of here.
