Resident ā€¢ 2000 - 2003

7/29/2003

I moved into McAlpine in 2000. at that time the property was owned by Windsor. Once they sold everything went down hill. They have changed management companies 3 times, each time the service getting worse. The lasndscaping is beautiful, but The inside, and outside of the apartments are a joke, wood rotting, insects takeing over.. try taking that money that you spend on the lanscaping and fix the apartments up. when I moved in the rent was over was close to 900.00 a month a 3 bedroom. But what is really driving me out is how the children are treated in the community. they are not allowed to run, play and bounce a basketball. can you believe these silly rules, they are always being threatend by the maintenance man that he is going to call the police on them , if they come in the clubhouse again, the same clubhouse that i pay all that rent for. As for the pools, you can only safely use one. the one by the club house is kept clean, but the one that is out in the community is filthy, I wonder why? tHIS IS TOO MCALPINE: YOU HAVE A CHOICE WHO YOU LET IN THE APARTMENT AND YOU ALSO HAVE CHOICE WHO YOU HIRE TO REPRESENT YOU. AND IN BOTH CASES YOU HAVE FAILED. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX TO ANYONE NOT EVEN MY ENEMIES.
