After about a month of living here, a policeman was patroling the parking lot. Concerned, I asked him what was going on. He said he was looking for a missing girl. He informed me to keep a look out for my car. Mcapline Place holds a record in Charlotte for the most car break ins since it is close to the woods, and parking lot is poorly lit. All of the appliances are cheap, and falling apart. Also when moving out, the staff claimed that we did not turn in a notice that we were leaving and tried to charge us an extra month of rent. When I told the manager I that we did turn it in she said "You have no proof that you did". She yelled at me, and was quite nasty. This was the manager. Living there caused me a great deal of stress. People that say it is a nice place, are unaware of the crime rate and have not tried to move out yet. They will waiver the deposit with good credit, but will charge you for any little thing they can when you leave. I hope no one else goes through this, SO DON'T MOVE THERE.
