I lived at the Atrium for a little over a year and couldn't wait to get out of that place. From day 1, the manager, Deidra, was short and nasty with me. Anytime I had an issue, I preferred to speak with the other leasing agent Yenissa bc Deidra acted like it wasn't her issue and that we were bothering her. I found Yenissa much more pleasent to deal with. Several of my neighbors had their apts broken into IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, as well as another had her car stolen. Not to mention the "cameras" that are old and prehistoric and do absolutely no good and the gates that hardly ever work. The residents have a harder time getting through them then the people who come through the walkthrough gate from the apt across the street. You are only supposed to have 2 cars at the complex but they allow residents to have 4 or 5 that they never drive and take up all of the parking spaces. The pool was hardly ever open during the hours that it was supposed to be and when it was open, was infested with the gangbangers from the surrounding neighborhoods. Don't get me wrong, I loved my spacious apt with vaulted ceilings and low rent but now I see why they aren't able to keep residents from moving out, even with the incentive packages that they offer for renewing. Believe me when I say, you can't always judge a book by it's cover. They look beautiful on the outside, but once you sign that lease you're trapped. DON'T DO IT!
