We were drawn to the great location (NW Raleigh) and beautiful lake and trees-- what a mistake! In the past year the population at Lake Lynn has rapidly changed from respectable people who go to work everyday and respect their neighbors to two distinct groups- the partying, drug-dealing tenants who play their music too loud at all hours and the non-English speaking, welfare recipient, people who don't understand what two white lines on the parking lot mean. Then there are the few of us "normal" people left... but not for long. The remaining civil, respectable tenants all have plans to leave within the next two months. Maintenance is another issue-- when you are expecting repairs while you are out-- do not leave valuables laying around... and expect multiple attempts-- it took six tries before replacing an old appliance in our unit. So, if you're looking to live at Lake Lynn-- go to Bridgeport or some other nearby community... because this is NOT a community, but a ------. Furthermore, the $399 signs posted at the entrances are embarassing-- what are they selling? underwear?
