I am utterly disappointed at the staff's response to the maintenance issues. It seems like they just don't care. They don't properly respond to phone calls even if you leave voicemail. They don't seem to care even if you send email (we have sent 3-4 email over a period of one year for the same issue, it was never take care of). I am speaking of personal experience. Seems like once you're stuck with them after lease-signing, their job is done. I am even considering going to legal services. Worst apartment service ever. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. The first day I moved in, my locked bike was stolen. Over last thanksgiving, out two delivered packages from the door were stolen. Their office is not on the property but ~12 miles away so phone/email is pretty much how you contact them and to that they don't seem to care much. They say they have strict pet policy but I have seen pets in the complex, in fact in my block itself.
