The location is wonderful, the lake is great, I love the geese and other wildlife that are on the property, and the price is right. The neighbors pretty much keep to themselves, so it's quiet at least. The staff is decent and maintenance generally responds really quickly, even if they typically haven't been able to or haven't needed to do much when they got here. We have had issues with the dishwasher not draining properly and the garbage disposal broke. The air quality in the apartment isn't that great. It's always had a little bit of a smell to it and we're always humid. I think that has to do with the bigger issue though. Our unit in particular has flooded 6 times since we moved in. Supposedly they have a contractor coming out to take a look at it, but it doesn't really help us until it's fixed. If they are proactive from this point forward about getting us into livable conditions I might change my mind, but at this point I wouldn't recommend renting here at all. Barring the flooding it's a wonderful place, but I can't just overlook the health hazards. I'm hoping they'll be reasonable and either switch our unit or let us out of the lease agreement, at which point I'll gladly update my review... but they should have never rented this unit to us in the first place. I doubt it magically started flooding every time it rained just since we moved in. It's an ongoing issue and should have been fixed as soon as the prior tenants moved out.
Update: The property manager called us this morning and it sounds like they're looking to switch our unit, so I'm very happy about that. It'll be interesting to see how that goes, but I'm willing to give this place another shot.
