Okay.
The best feature of Regency Lakeside is the location. However, they are about 30 years old and it shows. The plumbing is awful, although the maintenance people are pretty good about unclogging drains in relatively short order. Unfortunately, you have to call them often. The garbage disposal and dishwasher are practically useless. I've had major roof leakage at least three times. The gas and water usage are allocated based on square footage. In Omaha, in the winter, with gas furnaces, that's a real problem. If you are willing to wear a sweater, but your neighbor wants a sauna --- you end up paying for your neighbor's sauna. Don't be deceived by the lake. It looks beautiful but, while I never hear my neighbors, the Canadian geese are a constant, loud, messy, aggressive problem. Sometimes they render the patio simply unusable. There isn't enough parking, although some units come with a garage and when it snows that's a blessing. Trash is picked up at the door, but if you have anything that doesn't fit, it's your responsibility to schlepp it to the very back of the property where the only dumpster is located. There has been a recent influx of very large dogs, although most people are good about cleaning up after them. The management is competent and usually accommodating but not friendly. If you are a laid back type of tenant, these apartments might work for you but, all in all, you can probably do better for the money.Share This Review
