Not worth the money
The Vanderbilt looks nice when you view the model apartment. It also looks nice when you first move in. In my opinion however, the Vanderbilt is not worth the price. I live on the lower floor and have had constant problems with bugs getting into the apartment. Every day I have to vaccum up the bugs. I have also had problems with the air conditioner not working, and water leaks. I will give them credit that they do send out maintenance to work on the problems. However they never really fix anything. They just slap things together and Jerry-Rig things so that they will work for awhile.

Although the apartments look nice, you will find out soon enough that they were thrown together with shoddy workmanship. IĀ“ve had problems with mold coming up through the floor because the carpets were placed directly on a cement pad. The walls are buclking in places, there are cracks in the ceiling and walls and drywall screws are showing through the paint.

This is not by far the worst apartment IĀ“ve lived in. But for almost $800 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment I expect a lot more.Share This Review
