Good pick for short-term
Overall, I'm happy with my 12-month lease. Great price for utilities included, maintenance staff is 24-hour, very quick response time, concierge signs for all packages, laundry room on-site, good-looking grounds (some run-down areas in courtyard), pleasant office and concierge staffs, most are knowledgeable (have had problems with night shift/weekend concierge not knowing anything and telling me to call back during the day when the regular staff is in). I have a few very specific complaints about the apartments. Cons: I live in Bldg A, where the leasing office is located so there is almost constant traffic at the front entrance. Meaning, non-residents always waiting to gain entrance which I feel is unsafe and annoying, even though there are security cameras everywhere. The walls are paper thin, so be prepared to hear your neighbors loud talking and their dogs (!) yapping, however, I hear no noise from my upstairs and downstairs neighbors so I find it tolerable. I always arrive home after 9pm and parking is horrible! 5-10 mins driving around the entire complex looking for a spot, then a 5-min walk to the bldg. Not bad in good weather, pure hell on a cold, windy night. Cars create their own parking spots which has caused many near-accidents for me when another car zooms around a curve where vision is blocked by an illegally parked car (they rarely ticket, never tow). The parking lots have too many dark areas and could use brighter lights (took me a good month before I felt comfortable walking in at night). One last thing: the "cargo" elevator is tiny and made for a very difficult time moving in. I'm dreading the move out.Share This Review
