Pretty decent place to live
I just moved out of Short Hills Club Village, after being there for over two years. Overall, I found it a pretty good place to live. The apartment was spacious, especially for the price, and everything worked well and the complex was quiet and well-kept. The management office is pretty understanding, as I've seen people with grills and chairs outside in the summer, and some DirecTV dishes, even. Parking was available, and they did a good job keeping the private street well landscaped. The only things I would have to say that weren't great are that maintenance sometimes took a couple of days to come by and fix things, and that the landscapers were outside your window before 8:00 on some mornings. But the complex has a lot of plusses -- free heat and hot water, lots of parking, lots of storage space, available garages, online rent pay, laundry in the basement, and even a swimming pool. And the manager, Debbie, is very nice. I had to break my lease because I had to move, and Debbie did a great job finding someone to take the apartment on short notice, meaning I didn't have to pay rent while the apartment was unoccupied. She even got me my deposit back in just two weeks.Share This Review
