I agree with the review above, the owners are nickel and dimeing. In December they updated the "guest parking" which by the way is any uncovered parking space. So there was plenty of those uncovered until they updated most of the uncovered with covered--- a good thing, but now if you want to park in ANY covered it is 25 a month. They did have a grandfathered price of $10 if you got it before Jan 2010. Also there are extra charges for water, sewage, and garbage, mine comes out to about 45-60 a month - that includes "administrative fees" whatever that is, pure profit. They do charge extra if you decide to pay online, so I just do a bill pay with my bank. The floors and walls in this place are thin as paper. I can hear my upstairs neighbor flush the toilet, rustle with the dogs, and even hear the phone conversations, I won't even go into how I can hear every step taken, and other things. The construction was a rush job, but in fairness, does look nice and the appliances function very well.
If you live above a garage, BEWARE, continuing from what I wrote above, the floor is also paper thin, and it feels like the whole place is going to come crumbling down on you when someone else opens/closes one of their garages (yes, there are a few garages below you if you live on the first floor) - and they are not yours, unless you decide to purchase one for 100 a month, and even then, there are 4-5 of them under you so you'll still have to deal with other people coming and going all hours of the day/night and you can hear their car alarm arm/disarm, as well as the radio and the slamming of their car doors too --- then the garage door itself is so loud and vibrates so much you'd swear your in a war zone. DO NOT GET A UNIT ABOVE THE GARAGES.
Free wifi can't be used without using one of their loaned devices - you can't bring over your own laptop, or use your phones wifi while working out.
Maintenance staff are great, they are friendly, work long hours and are quick to fix almost anything that needs fixing.
Staff members are great too, they are pleasant to deal with when you need to, and are always nice. I'm a minority and have had other places treat me different (yes this still goes on), but here they are nice no matter what you look like.
Bird problem, I agree with the above poster there is a bird feces problem, every walkway has tons of bird feces.
Other than what I've posted above, the whole complex is nice, has nice amenities and a great staff. They have fair prices, and do not treat minorities different. If you don' t get a unit next to the road (like mine) you'll be fine (so long as you don't have a garage under you), or noisy neighbors above you --- but to be fair the floors are so thin, anyone will seem "noisy". This place is in a great location, close to the Galleria mall, and close to highway entrances. Unfortunately its also close to the flight path of all the planes coming in, and since the construction is so cheap, you can hear each and every plan come in / or depart.
