This place truly is very unique in its sense of community. The owners are a fun-loving couple who do their best to keep the place in as best shape as possible. Its an old building and you have to give them props for their effort. If you're a college student like I was when I stayed there (St Rose!!), it beats staying in a dorm (much cheaper, quieter, your own personal space.) And you can opt for a short term lease which really helped me out. Its also more secure, so if you're not planning on living on campus this would be your best bet versus living in the college ------ (all those crappy houses on Morris, Quail, etc.) All utilities included, even internet. Can't get that anywhere else for the price.

The only downside is you can't have air conditioning, which is brutal during the summer. But hey if you just need a place to crash during the fall and spring, you'd be fine.
I had a mouse problem but thats common with most Albany apartments.

oh and that elevator is the greatest ;)
