Resident 2005 - 2007

6/26/2007

I've read all the bad reviews and find them to be hilarious! I've been in retail sales for many years and understand the general consumer mentality. You sure can't please everyone! But most people are likely to place a review if they've had a bad experience only. So knowing this, here's an honest review from someone who knows the deal! I first sought sites like this to get an idea on a place prior to making a comitment, but found that most of the bad reviews are from people who never lived in an apartment complex. I decided on this place from a friend who lived here for several years and liked it. I'm sure glad I listened to him, and not this site! I've been a resident here for two years, and just signed up for another two years. This place is very nice. This place is my fifth apartment complex since I moved out of my parents house in 1990. I would recomend it highly! The grounds are maintained and kept very nice. The apartments are very spacious and the sound proofing is great! I never hear my neighbors and can crank my tunes when I want. There is a laundry room for each group of buildings. The office is very pleasent despite other comemnts. My rent hasn't gone up at all. I only needed maintence once, and the issue was corrected in a timely manor. It's great if you have children, always here them playing outside. Never had a problem, or even heard of a problem with theft or any crime. Private security patrols parking lots at sundown and all night long. BUT YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THINGS ABOUT RENTING AN APARTMENT ANYWHERE! Every complex is allowed to enter your apartment in case of emergency or with notice. Any damage to carpeting, walls, cabints, or fixtures will be deducted from your security deposit (ie: holes, stains, chips etc.). You live among other people and need to get along, and be courteous! The are laundry services on the premises, but there not gonna have 20 w/d's! The appliances and cabinents aren't gonna be state of the art! Don't expect a renovation. A paint job and carpeting, and that's it! Remeber your not living in your parents house, nor are you buying a home, your renting a place that someone lived at before you, and someone will live at when your gone. TAKE IT FOR WHAT IT IS!
