BUGS!!

I have lived in Grant Village for almost a year now moving in last October. When I first moved in I noticed these black and orange beetles both inside and outside my apartment. I had never seen this particular bug before, and having just moved in and it almost being winter I chose to ignore the problem and hope for the best in the spring. They didn't arrive back until around July. But they came with a vengeance. By August I had what seemed like millions of these bugs all over the outside of the windows and doors. Being a child of the age of the internet I did some research and found that these beetles are called Box Elder Bugs aka "love bugs" due to their overwhelming reproduction. My apartment has a huge oak tree close to the building in the back yard and it was completely infested with these bugs. This would be fine if the windows/screens were sealed correctly. Unfortunately these bugs make their way in with little effort. This may be fine for some people, but I paid $700 for a 2br and these pesky bugs set me off! I called management multiple times and was told the first time they would send someone out to "look" at them. Having never seen maintenance and still having millions of these beetles invading my apartment I called again and was told that "their isn't really anything they can do and I should be glad their not roaches!" If the bugs weren't bad enough I have also had many other problems with Grant Village. The basement "laundry room" is atrocious. They actually have only 1 washer and 1 dryer for a building with 8 apartments in it. The washer and dryer are regularly broken. More often then not the basement is also flooded. Their is also piles of these bugs dead that had obviously just been swept into piles and just left there. These piles remain there to this date. The basement windows are also a mess broken having plants growing in them. In the bathroom above my shower the ceiling started leaking water due to my upstairs neighbors letting their water overflow and seep down through the floor. I called maintenance and they came and put a plaster like substance on it and left it. Still leaks to this day. Parking is another nightmare here. They do not have assigned parking spots and if you aren't home by 8pm chance are the lots will be full and you will have a nice walk after parking on the street. Needless to say I will not be renewing my lease here and wouldn't recommend moving here to my worst enemy!
