Mold in apartments
Some of these apartment buildings are over twenty years old and have structural problems including water leaks in ceiling and walls. These leaks result in mold growth along the walls and in the carpets. Promises to do repairs to stop the mold were either not fulfilled and if there is any work done, it is often shoddy resulting in continuation of the mold spread.

This is especially true for the basement apartments. Often the innocaent renter is fooled by the carpet cleaning chemicals used to mask the moldy odor. Apart from the health risks the renter is exposed to, the smell of the apartments can be horrible. In fact a next door neighbor had to move out on doctor´s orders. The place she vacated was "cleaned up" and put back in the market for viewing shortly after she left.

Management is only there to sell and lease to people and maintenance is there generally to blame tenants for any problems with the apartments.
