Resident 2004 - 2005

5/27/2005

Do not be fooled by the nice friendly staff!! They seem like they will do anything to help until you move in. I have had noise complaints for the six months that I have lived here and the tenant has still not been reprimanded. I am kept awake from 2-4 in the morning at least 3 nights a week. Also, don't expect the snow to be removed in the winter. For 2 days in December 2004 residents could not move their cars because there was no attempt to clear the snow. The sidewalks had more than a foot of snow on them. The apartments clearly were built very cheap. The paint jobs are horrible. I can still see all the writing in pencil in my bathroom where the builders were measuring. The walls are so thin that I hear my neighbor going to the bathroom. The first 2 months that I lived in the apartment, the gates were broken. After numerous complaints they were finally fixed but they continue to breakdown on a regular basis. There are wonderful professional residents here and I have made many friends. BEWARE of the front office staff. They talk bad about each other to residents and do not communicate with each other. Oh...by the way...if you have to call emergency maintenance don't count on them being in town. The last time I called, the maintenance man was 2 hours away. One last thought, don't think that background checks are done when you move in. My neighbor is a registered sex offender, drug user and has been charged with felonious assault. Renter beware!!!!
