We were told that we would only be living in Columbus for 6-8 months and so when we signed our lease here we didn't think it would be a permanent thing. Once our first year was up, we thought for sure we would be moving and so just resigned. When our second lease came up, we moved.
The noise factor wasn't really our issue, although you could hear your neighbors, if in fact they were noisy to begin with. And the fact that there was turnover in office staff, well, you never know why people are coming or going so that wasn't the problem either.
The problem for me was that you would consistently get letters about this, that, or the other thing from the leasing office. But one time, when I wrote a letter because of a serious problem, nothing was ever said about it. (A resident had been firing a gun into the sky on New Year's Eve.) NOT ONE THING IN ANY MEMO! A serious safety issue and nothing, but we got memos about the lock being changed at the gym and when to pick up your key.
The only thing that is awesome about Town Center is its location. It is close to Easton, 270, and the airport. (at times the closeness to the airport is definately a negative)
SO, if you work a lot of hours and won't be home much, it's a great place. If you are home during the evenings and don't go out a ton, don't bother.
