I lived at Bennington Pond for 2 1/2 years and loved my place. Maintenance responded very quickly to every request- even spraying for spiders. It was easy to get onto 33 and at a great location for getting onto 270 or 70 to get around Columbus. I lived on the second floor and had no one above me, but I think only a handful of times in the 2 1/2 years there did I ever hear anything from my neighbor's apartments. The neighbors were friendly but kept to themselves. If I could afford to live here without a roommate, I would move back in tomorrow.
The windows offer great natural lighting and plenty of breeze in the summer- which meant I rarely used my AC. However, in the winter they proved to be horrendous sources of heat loss. Also, watch out for flooding in the window sill during heavy rains because the complex has not taken time to clean the buildup from the drain holes. There were tons of spiders from late spring until early fall and they dangle from the ceiling and drop as you are trying to go up the steps. They also built webs across the stairwells every night at times. We are not talking daddy long legs either... Although I never had any issues with crime or feeling unsafe, it would not hurt to check online for sexual offenders in the area for your own awareness.
