Tower of Terror
This was by far the worst place I have ever lived. When I moved in, the carpet was horribly stained and smelled. No amount of carpet freshener applied over the course of the year could make the smell go away. The apartment didn't look (or smell) like it had been cleaned since the last inhabitant (or last 12 inhabitants.) I lived in a studio, and there was no temperature control, so the temperature in my apartment was always beastly hot. The walls were extremely thin--I could hear my neighbors all night. The toilet was a piece of crap and ran constantly despite frequent fixing. The elevator is a death trap. It never lines up with the floor, so you either have to step up or down when boarding. It dropped about 5 feet when I was in it one time--I stopped using it and took the stairs even though I lived on an upper floor. A cracked out guy stood in the lobby and asked people for money and tried to sell things to me all the time. Where was security? He even knocked on the door to my apt a couple of times. When I moved out, the management kept some of my security deposit because the carpet was stained--the stains that were there when I moved in!!!! Seriously, DO NOT live here, it is a horrible horrible place. The lighting is horrible, the entire place smells and is falling apart. I cannot tell you strongly enough to stay away!Share This Review
