I lived in a one bedroom apartment at Pine Forest for a year and found it to be pretty reasonable for the price. ($469.00, which included gas, water and trash removal) I was on the second floor and had a balcony facing a wooded area. It was pretty quiet and private. There is a park close by, and deer walk through the yard quite often. The kitchen and bathroom were average size for an apartment, but the living room and bedroom were both bigger than other apartments I've stayed in. I also had my own dining area. I never had a problem finding parking, even in the winter when certain parking spots are blocked off for snow plowing.

On the down side, the apartments are definitely older. The hallways are pretty dark and kind of dingy feeling. The kitchen cabinets are old and dark. Paint was chipping off of the bathroom cabinets. My main apartment door was gouged around the lock area and scratched up. The closet doors were all scratched up. The air conditioning wall unit was old and loud.

They're definitely older apartments, but the size of the rooms and convenient location (near Southpark Mall, metroparks and right between 71 and 77) make them worth the low price.
