Resident 2005 - 2010

2/25/2010

I have lived here for over four years. In that time, my rent has only gone up one time and that was $25 a month. A previous tenant posted that their are parking problems. I live about 3/4 of the way to the back. Over the years I can see that there may be problem parking along Pickerington Ridge Dr. itself. The further back you get in the Apartment complex, the more availability of parking there is. I would suggest selecting a unit towards the rear. That also cuts down on general traffic passing through. I own two vehicles and have no problem with the parking. The Apartment complex is mostly families. The kids in the complex seem to be good kids and I have had no issues with any of them. Everyone is neihborly so it is pretty easy to fit in. The free car wash is closed during the winter but when it is open, it is maintained well. The vaccuum is open year round and always has worked. The maintenance staff is very friendly and if something needs fixed they are right on it. I have never had a problem with the front office personnell. I was late with my rent one month in which my dog broke its leg so I had a sudden $700 medical bill. I immediately explained the problem to the front office and told them I would be two weeks late. I was still responsible for the late fee but nobody left an eviction notice or any additional notice for that two weeks. In other words, if you are going to be late, let them know and they will work with you. One of the things I like best is that The complex is right across the street from the Pickerington Police department. I think it's a real deterrent for Burglars and car break ins. I am not saying it doesn't happen but I haven't seen it since I have lived here. If safety is an important factor, this is a good choice. If I had one complaint, it is the pool in the summer. After hours of the office closing, teenagers tend to come here to swim that don't live here. That within itself causes an overcrowding problem and the kids can get out of control. They aren't thug kids, just kids that don't live in the complex. Overall I would recommend the complex especially for families.
