My husband and I live in an upstairs one bedroom and until recently had absolutely no complaints! We still like living here and hope that the recent issues are just a bump in the road. The day it became Avana on Second things changed. They are desperately in need of maintenance staff (they have signs out that they are hiring)and it shows! Trash is my number one complaint... piles and piles and piles of trash are left outside of the compactor for days.. it is disgusting.. stray animals dig through it and the pile of trash actually caught on fire!!!! The fire department came and everything! It is virtually impossible to talk to anyone in the office over the phone. I have tried calling them numerous times and leaving messages but no one gets back to you. The one time I got through the lady put me on hold and never got back to me. The funny thing is I am calling about renewing my lease! Hopefully they will get the hang of it soon because we really did love living here.

Avana on Second Apartments
We couldn't have agreed with you more and are thrilled we are now offering nightly door to door trash pickup vs twice a week curbside trash. It allows us more time to handle resident calls in a timely manner and also help ensure a cleaner community!We have additionally hired two new team members to assist us with our call volume and rolled out an online service system through our Resident Portal. We have also recently promoted our Assistant Lead who has overseen the community for two years to our new Service Manager and know these changes are for the best! We hope that you award us the opportunity to review us in another 30-60 days and see the changes we are making in a positve way!
