I have read many of the reviews and have concluded that the most nasty of reviews seem to come from people who did not comply with the rules of the complex! Usually when someone does not pay their rent or a situation happens that they need to move before the lease is up they get upset if they don't like the cost of getting out of a lease! That is their fault for agreeing with the rules and then not abiding by them!
I have lived at Canyon Creek for 2 years and have to say that it did not seem to be the most desirable place, however, it was within my budget of what I could afford. I knew going in that it was an older property and would probably have some issues with maintenance. I did have a few problems when I first moved in and it seemed to take forever to get it repaired properly. Since the new management has taken over I have had my problems repaired and have noticed a bit of work taking place on the property that seems to be for the better! They did seem to have a bit of turnover in the office staff(probably a good thing)! I truly feel that the new owner/staff are concerned with not only themselves but the resident as well!
