Resident 2009

4/15/2009

We lived here for just under 5 years. We had to move recently due to economy changes and needing a cheaper place to live. We believed it was a nice place and a safe clean area to raise our daughter. On the surface, the management is supportive, but all that glitters isn't gold. 1. We received three rent increases in five years, including two $40 increases. There is absolutely no desire on the part of this complex to encourage long-term, quiet, good, clean tenants who pay on time and require very little maintenance, despite the fact that we saw at least three moving trucks on our side of the complex every month we lived there. 2. I cleaned the place very well before leaving and still lost nearly my entire security deposit due to "14 hours" of needed cleaning. I have no idea how slow they went or how detailed they got, but there is no way there was 14 hours of cleaning needed on that apartment when I left it. So say good-bye to your deposit unless you clean the entire place with a toothbrush. Be warned. I wish we had been. It's a very nice, safe area to live, but look elsewhere unless you want annual rent increases as an existing tenant and have no desire to see your deposit ever again. It might as well have been a $250 fee. I'm sorry I bothered to clean anything.
