I tried to make this review as honestly and objectively as I could. Hopefully you find it helpful.
Parking
* Plentiful
* Each apartment gets a car port
* Mgmt gives advance notice if you need to move your car due to resurfacing
Noise
* Noise inside the apartment caused by neighbors doing usual things is minimal
- Shouting can be heard occasionally
- Some neighbors insist on revving loud vehicles at unnaturally early times of the morning
- Street racers can be heard on most nights (not the apt's fault)
Grounds
* Lawns, gardens, shrubs are all well-groomed and look very healthy
Pool is clean
- Lawn mowers can be a little loud in the morning, but nothing unacceptable
- Workout area is mediocre (older machines, wouldn't say it's gym-quality)
- Garbage containers often go over-filled
Safety
* Cars parked in car port are well-lit
* Entry ways are also well-lit
* Two deadbolts on door
Construction
* Most everything construction-wise (walls, carpet) held up well.
- Refrigerator leaks (has been mentioned by more than one person)
- Tub clogs
- Blinds do not close
- Large gap under door which allows bugs to come in
Maintenance
- Things that we wrote down when we moved in (3 months ago) have yet to be addressed
- Have reminded office 4 more times, still with nothing done about it
- "We will get that taken care of right away" doesn't mean right away
- Overall, this is the weakest area
Staff
* Office staff is polite and accomidating (when you visit office)
- Hard to get calls answered
Overall
* Nice enough place to live
* Safe location
* Area is close to shopping (Streets of Tanasbourne)
- A number of things fundamentally wrong with our apartment (and still not fixed)
- Too many spiders in the apartment (2-5/week, related to door problem)
- Not worth the $1100 /mo
