One star for the overall nice apartment, one start for the view of the forest I had. I lived here for two years, and while it was a nice place, it definitely went downhill. Some of the neighbors that came after I moved in were extremely loud. Despite voicing my concerns, the management didn't seem to care about the noise at 2 or 3 in the morning, or the constant smells of marijuana floating in my windows every afternoon.
In addition to not addressing my concerns, the office consistently failed to reply to any question I had over the 2 years. I had to physically go down to the office to get an answer, as voicemails and emails were never returned. That's if they were there... the office hours seemed to be pretty variable. They also lost some of my mail that had been delivered to the office.
The neighborhood is nice, with nice trails and a pretty park, but don't expect anyone to be overly friendly. To be frank, it's a snooty-tooty area full of people you'd expect. Pretty rude actually.
The parking is hideous. You have an assigned spot, and most of the time it's yours, but if someone else decides your spot is more convenient that day, don't expect the management to do anything about. Watch out for random spot-reassignment also. My spot was moved when the parking lot lines were re-painted, but they didn't bother to tell me about it until it was already done. Again, rude. If you have guests, warn them that they will have to hike up a hill, sometimes all the way from the street at the bottom.
Overall, I really wouldn't recommend this place to anyone moving to the area. It's overpriced, and you can find better places with nicer people. Keep shopping people!
