It seems the last few posts have had nothing but negative comments and i have to agree with them. Now i can only hope the new part owners/investors are really going to dump some cash into this place and also completely dismantle the old management(yeah thats funny) team!! I do see some positive changes but mainly only if you are just moving in... then you get a fairly remodeled apt. Those of us that have been here for awhile still have mid 70's appliances and original carpeting... also very old. My roof leaks as well as my neighbors next door. The windows are original from the 70's as well. Now we all know with the rising energy costs its time for all new windows and all new appliances... including AC units!! Mold is a massive problem!! The trash situation is bad... the dumpster schedule needs to be adjusted to compensate for the heavy influx of new tenants. The dumpsters overflow regularly and there is constantly old furniture laying around. But they do have a lady who goes around and waters some of the plants and landscaping... haha!!! Maybe they should put her to work cleaning the dirty smelly hallways??? Oh except in the main office building... that would be 2415. They have nice new paint and its always clean... go figure. Now for the parking situation... well it's atrocious and i am sorry to say as many times as i have complained and made appropriate suggestions... nothing ever gets done... Ever!!! Occasionally they put tow-away stickers on a very few vehicles... but guess what... all those cars are still here!!! Now if you count the total amount of spaces available here you will find there is approximately enough parking to accomodate 1 to 1 and 1/2 vehicles per apt. They allow 2 vehicles per apt. with 2 licensed drivers residing there. Only one vehicle is supposed to be allowed if only one licensed tenant resides in a unit. Funny how an ex office employee still has 2 cars out here (which never move) even though she lives by herself!! I have 2 unregistered vehicles sitting in front of my building and a relatively new tenant now has three vehicles parked out front. I have suggested giving each unit one reserved space... this may not totally solve the problem but it's certainly a start. By the way i think i made that REasonable suggestion about 2 and a half yrs ago to no avail!! People are constantly parking in the fire lanes and although its illegal i can't blame them... there is absolutely no where else to go. I want to say to the last post here that i hope you all are doing better... i feel its horrible you had to move due to the health problems caused by this place and i truly understand your suffering!! Now for the very few good things. Like i said there are some improvements being made and i hope they continue for everyone... not just new tenants. The new maintenance supervisor is great... he has my vote for manager any day of the week!! He's professional, courteous and knowledgable. Also i have made some very good friends here and for the most part my neighbors have always been nice. Thanks for listening and if anyone would like to respond i am including my email this time.
