Resident 2012 - 2013

3/21/2014

This would be a nice apartment if you did not have neighbors. Sound and vibration is carried through the building. I live on the top floor of the building and I hear the footsteps of the people downstairs in their apartment. It gets annoying hearing godzilla stomp around. In other apartments I've lived in this isnt a problem when you are upstairs but at Berkley it is a problem. Sitting on my couch in the living room, I can feel the floor shake beneath me from them walking around or slamming their door. Berkley folks love to slam their doors. It reminds me of living in a dorm. Car doors, front door, closet, cabinets, dresser drawers - all slammed shut. It's easy to say this is what you get when you live in an apartment complex but I've lived elsewhere and had none of these issues and the rent was much less than the over 1k rent at berkley. There are lots of dogs here but oddly I never hear them. Too bad their owners are not as quiet. Traffic is congested on freedom rd up to rt19 and all around rt19. Freedom rd is single lane in each direction and is used by tractor trailers. There is also a large industrial park up the road. It is not unusual to see a freight train of cars on each side of freedom rd. I've crawled from cvs all the way to rt19 many times. The shopping around berkley manor is not as conveniently located as it seems on a map. I've had no insect problems here.
