Resident ā€¢ 1999 - 2001

We moved in shorly before we were married and stayed there for 2 years. We moved out of the area. We worked at Hershey Medical Center. I was a technician and my husband was a graduate student. We had very little money, but we easily afforded the rent. Obviously the reviewer who said it was impossible to rent there had something shady in their credit report. We were approved in a week. Yes, the rent is higher than those of the surrounding area, but you get what you pay for. No other apartments in the area have a NICE pool, a car wash, playgrounds, walking trails, tennis courts, basketball, clubhouse, and exercise facitities. The apartments very were well laid out. The amount of light that they get is really nice too. The place I moved into after I left HH doesnĀ“t even compare. We were miserable after we left HH. I never heard my neighbors at HH unless the toddler downstairs was watching Rugrats with the volume turned all the way up. As far as the management/maintenance staff -- yes, they can be hard to deal with, but overall we had a very positive experience living there and would HIGHLY recommend living there. I also would like to note that I have lived in another apartment complex in Hummelstown and know a lot of people who live in other developments. By far, HH was the nicest apartments.
