I have lived in some terrible places - I have rented 9 apartments in the pats 10 years, and this place was tied for 2nd worst, only because the landlord of the first worst was arrested for drug dealing!
My husband and I had nothing but problems with this townhouse AND the staff from Day 1. They promised the world and present a pretty picture, but time and again, with every minor or major problem that arose (and there were countless) it took at least a week to even receive acknowledgement from the staff, let alone have the problem resolved. We spent at least $500 of our own money trying to fix problems because the staff either neglected us or wasn't equipped to fix it. Rather than dialoging, here is a list of problems:
Basement flooded (we were promised this would never happen)
linoleum floors cracked
closet doors fell off
windows let cold air in
HVAC system and filters were water logged and filthy
dishwasher and garbage disposal broke or wouldn't work properly - maintenance put bandaids on both
washer and dryer barely worked; we would have to put dryer on about 3 times to get a dry load
no insulation between walls with other townhomes; could smell and hear everything neighbors were doing
terrible parking situation; kids riding bikes, playing with sticks in parking lot every day; we saw them scratch cars at least every week
maintenance staff changed 3 times; apartment managers changed 4 TIMES!!!! They cannot keep staff there, so this must be a problem with all Toll Management properties
Floors feel like you will fall through if you step on the wrong spot
no lighting in the parking lot
Just stay away. The train being a half mile away never made living here worth it for a single day.
