I have lived in this apartment building while under 2 different management companies and have seen the changes that they have implemented to improve the building. I have lived in an older apartment unit and currently live in a renovated unit and have been satisfied with both. Yes, as with all high rise apartment buildings there are certain sacrifices one has to make. For example, having the water shut off for maintenance and yes the water is off different times throughout the month. Over the years, I feel that the frequency has decreased that the water is off. The management staff is courteous enough to provide notice of when the water will be shut off in a timely manner. I never had a problem with pests but if I need a maintenance request, they respond in a timely fashion. It may however take multiple visits to fix a problem to your liking though. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and helpful and I feel comfortable discussing my issues or corners with them. I like the diverse resident population ranging from college and graduate students to working people. The location is great. Not too far from center city and close to public transportation and the highway. Overall, charter court is a reasonably priced for the area. If you want to avoid things such as maintenance issues and loud noises, do not live in a high rise apartment..get your own house.
