Kenmawr Apartments

401 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

06/07/15 by anonymous:
I have lived in the Kenmawr for 6 years and would not live anywhere else in Shadyside. My first 3 years were spent in a 3 bedroom unit with views of Shadyside. I now reside in a two bedroom unit and am still just as pleased with my accommodations. The units are more spacious than any you will find in Shadyside and have more storage than I know what to do with. The building itself, while slightly more

The air conditioning chiller on the roof is not sized appropriately for the residential units. It has been an issue for the 10 years I've lived here. It's 81 degrees in my unit in May.... and it only gets worse as the summer progresses. I would not recommend living here. more

Lease breakage policy is like 2 months notice and 2 months rent breakage charge. So incase you need to break lease due to an emergency you have to pay 4 months rent . Some apartments have bedbug problems and you need to pay for pest control even its not your fault. Gas bills come very high due to old equipments . more

Crane Village Apartments

651-1b Oaklynn Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15220

I moved to PGH from Ohio because I was accepted into a PhD program at Pitt. I was sort of pressured by the previous manager to sign, but upon first glance, everything seemed in order. I was horrified to find the staff (current) were just as pushy and unprofessional as the last manager. Honestly, I feel like this place preys on people from out of town: Crane Village (Banksville) is close to the more

I have lived her for over a year, we never signed a new lease and continued living here. We called the office to see what the exit process was because we found a house were buying. Management said we have to pay 3 months rent in order to leave, we then told them we never signed a new lease. They said it was A VERBAL AGREEMENT to stay another year which we never said. Does anyone know what the more

It used to be a very good apartment when I lived there three years ago. Affordable and convenient. Although this apartment is old, maintenance is excellent and response quickly. more

I have lived here for six years and I have almost no complaints. The previous property manager was an unpleasant and unfair person who has since been replaced with a very kind, courteous and responsive professional. I feel very safe here. The quality of the apartments here are amazing for the price, especially compared to those in Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, or Oakland. These areas are all around more

Morgan at Northshore (Formerly Lincoln At North Shore Apts)

100 Anderson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

As previous people have reviewed the front office is incompetent. They also don't run the complex for the residents living there, but more for money. It is very difficult to speak with them about a problem or concern without getting a childish reaction. Their community communication is also lacking. There has been construction on the garage and it is rare to get more than a 24hr notice on more

Village In The Park

300 Marshall Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15214

I lived in this shanty town for a year and absolutely hated it. First, you can hear every conversation your neighbors have. Second, if something breaks, you better fix it yourself because maintenance will surely never come. The roof leaked, told the manager Tom but nothing was ever resolved. Also Tom the village manager is no help at all and does not return any phone calls. Also their is a huge more

Greenbriar Village

1701 Greenvalley Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15220

12/07/14 by anonymous:
Greenbriar village is over priced. The rent is raised $40 every year and eventually people cant afford it so they end up moving out. The apartments are not big at all. The neighbors....it's such a high turn over here because of the rent increases so you never know who's going to be living next to you. Ive been harassed and stalked by neighbors here and nothing was ever done about it. more
