Resident 2005 - 2007

The view is nice. With the park right next door I would see deer in the yards around the complex all the time. There is also a nice trail through the park right next to the complexes. And if you work downtown you can be there in less then 20 minutes even in rush hour traffic. The neighbors were all very friendly. They also accept all breeds and size of dogs which is a huge plus for me. However, the apartments need a lot of work and the basement needs a lot more ventilation. I had to throw out so much stuff when I moved because of mold down in the storage area which is in between where they have the washers and dryers. I wouldn't be surprised if there was mold in the walls of my apartment too. Several times water leaked through my ceiling from the apartment upstairs due to the air conditioner freezing (I believe that's what they said happened) and my ceiling was never fixed. The wood rotted out underneath my sliding glass door which caused it to fall out and smash against my coffee table just inches from where my boyfriend was sleeping. The floors were always freezing cold in the winter because there was no insultation underneath. They may have fixed that problem by now as I was told that was something they were going to do right before I moved out. Overall I wouldn't recommend the place if you could find something else for the same price. But if you have pets and want a cheap place to stay that is close to downtown it will do.
