I have been living at Briarwood for more than three years, and have nothing but good things to say about the property and the staff. Had life circumstances not dictated a need to move, I would continue to stay there indefinitely. It's quiet, easy to get to, well maintained (my unit received a complete overhaul of the kitchen and bathrooms this past year) and safe. Both the office staff and more

So, I'm going to try to give a balanced perspective and opinion of The Villas at Happy Valley (a property of The Apartment Store). It is disappointing, yet true that The Villas really is not even close to what it is advertised as being. There are numerous similar places around State College that seem much better, or at least better. PROS: - Location. Nittany Mall, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, more

Awesome building, always clean even after football weekends, location is good too right downtown. The office staff and maintenance are always really nice and helpful. They have a bunch of free food sometimes and contests throughout the year which is pretty cool. A fun building, but not too noisy, everyone is pretty respectful. Great place to live, I've stayed for 3 years! more

My husband and I have lived here for several years, in separate apartments and then together. Overall, we have found both apartments to be entirely satisfactory and the community to be wonderful. I lived in their smaller one-bedroom and it was a great option for a single person. Enough space, funky storage, but spacious and well-maintained. Now we live in a larger one-bedroom and it is the more

I've been here for more than two years and I'm about to leave now due to personal stuffs. It's a lovely place I'm definitely going to miss. For a lot of reasons this is a great place to rent - cheap rental, great maintenance, friendly people and landlord, plenty of parking lots, next to Tudek park - the largest park in local, Weis, Giant, Walmart and Northland Bowling are more

GROSS building (smells like stale natty light and urine) 2. tiny units 3. LOUD on Thursday-Saturday nights 4. parking is minimal more

I have been here for two years and I love it !! So sad to be leaving in spring . Location is great as we are right next to Walmart ( I literally walk there to get my groceries) and the value for your money here is worth it . My apartment was very clean and nice . The only issue we ever had was silverfish bugs but other than that its great. Staff has always been friendly and while the previous GM more

The staff at the apartment is really strange. Before moving into the apartment, the staff send me an incomplete lease contract which has several lost pages. It has been really risky if I did not find it and sign back. After hastening them, they finally send me the seemingly complete conttract. When I decided not to rent the apartment, they asked me to hand in additonal reassignment fee to cover more

Pros: Washer/Dryer in Unit Landscaping is well taken care of Easy access to buses close to grocery story Cons: Student housing so its noisy Management is sluggish Management try to nickel and dime tenants My apartment had several maintenance issues that were not taken care of in a timely fashion. As in it took management several months to fix something. In addition, management is currently more
