Resident 2002 - 2004

4/4/2004

Parking in the lot behind is discounted ($35/mth) for residents. I wish there was a secure way to get in from the back since the alley is "iffy". It is very quiet. The tennants range from college students to professionals to retired. The new renovations to the lobby, hallways and apts. are very nice. Entering the bldg. is safe with the buzzer door.(only broken once) The original hotel lobby is intact w/historical pics. The elevators are tempermental since many reisdents/guests forget to close the doors. The elevators are neat because of their "old hotel" look. The stairwells are well lit. The new chairs&pictures are tasteful adding to the charm. My studio is newly renovated. It fits quite a bit of furniture. Great kitchen area. Large living area. The staff is very professional and calls are answered in a timely manner. The new deck looks great and should be finished soon. The laundry room is lacking. Supposedly there will be washers/dryers on each floor. The basement will be then be a game rm or fitness. Electric heat not so good. All apts need the ceiling fans installed. Overall I have enjoyed living there the last year and a half. <br>
