We moved into Admirals cove in dec 2007. At first we were really excited it was a beautiful place. We had absolutely no problems at first except for the people upstairs because top to bottm the apartments arent built with sound quality in mind. Next door you can hear nothing though so if you do decide to move in get the top floor. Our problems came with trying to move out. The treated us nice until we got our deposit back. We had 1500 dollar is deposits to include 6oo dollars in rent we over payed. We had one 6 pound morky. We kept our house well kept it may my wife was a stay at home mom with a new born. So our house stayed spotly reason being we always had company. Our dog might of occasionally had an accident but it was always cleaned up immediately. We cleaned our carpets every 4 to 5 months. When we moved out I cleaned the carpets twice, and also I paid them to professionaly do it. When I got our check we got 600 dollars back. They said the apartment smelled like dog urine and had numerous stains. Huh I dont believe so. Our could never get over how the couldnt even tell we had a dog. The charged us 800 dollars for the degraded value of 5 year old carpets. Are you kidding me' They took advantage of us because they knew we were leaving the area. They knew we wouldnt bother fighting it. Honestly I think they should be black listed from military usage. The neighborhood around it is terrible also!

They should be black listed from the military! I only lived there for 6mos. I left to and moved back to NC! The best decision I ever made! I hated Alaska !!!!! I got into a fight with the Admiral Cove's people from the beginning. They were so rude. I was so tired of their little notes. I had someone that lived above and below me. One time the people downstairs accused us of vacuuming at 3am and we did not even have our household goods yet. We heard the people upstairs all the time simply walking...and we did not complain. The people downstairs said that we were just dropping things on the floor. This was not true. Anyways! Thank God it is all over. You could not pay me to live in that hell hole!
