I lived at Richardson vista aka North Pointe (as if renaming the place is going to fool anyone) for 6 months. Every building I had ever went into had it's own unique terrible smell. Some more like urine, others mildew, some foul ass cooking.

It's in the worst part of town. My car got broken into, and I hardly ever felt safe walking through the long hallways which often had lights out. One time there was a homeless person sleeping in one of the stairwells. My door wouldn't lock for a long time, they had repainted the door frame so many times that it had become too thick to close the door properly. They never fixed it. We ended up just rigging it so it would work, and had to slam it closed and yank it open. Some of the windows were starting to have similar problems, because they just slap a new layer of paint after anyone moves out so it's all thick and nasty.

Parking SUCKS. You don't get ANY assigned parking, and if you come home after 7ish, you get nothing. I worked nights so I always got screwed out of a parking spot. Plus, guests would always take the tennant parking and leave other people without spaces. I don't even think there were enough spaces for people who DID live there. One time I had to park several blocks from my own building. SERIOUSLY inconvenient, especially when you have to carry groceries.

Management was nice for the most part, and the playground and landscaping was well kept up. The rent was cheap though. You get what you pay for. Some buildings had a decent view.
