Former Military Resident would never reside here again

Park Plaza is NOT in a good location, after living there for a few months I learned from coworkers that it is near what they called "crack-corner", the Sullivan arena is right across the street and whenever there is an event there, the street in front is estentially closed and you have to go around the block and through the back entrance. In addition to the horrible traffic conditions the baseball/football fields cause a lot of noise during the spring/summer/fall seasons. The building itself smells and is rundown. They are building Park Plaza II next door and that also creates a lot of noise. If you are a single soldier just wanting something cheaper and close to base, this would be ideal. However if you are a married soldier for the sake of you wife do NOT live here. My husband picked this location out before I moved up to Anchorage and I hated living there. You can hear the residents on all sides of you. If someone is taking a shower you can hear. It was awful.
