If you have a budget...

I currently reside in the Clarkson Court Apts. The rent is reasonable, and cable TV is included. The rooms are small, and not well maintained, however. I would not say it is a slum, but it is definitely not the Ritz. They do allow pets (cats at least), which is a plus. Management is quite nice, but it will take awhile for concerns to be met. The laundry is pretty poor, don't count on things drying in one cycle. The walls are either thin, or my neighbors are quite loud. Overall, if you are on a budget in Fairbanks, especially with the high cost of living here, its not a bad place to live. It is close to the University, which is a plus for a student. If you do have more to spend, however, I would look elsewhere.
